German Boma Visit

The museum is situated at the end of the Boma road neighbouring the Arusha International Conference Centre, the Arusha Municipal Council, and the Arusha Regional Offices.
It is harboured in the Old German Boma. The boma is believed to be founded by the Germans in about 1900, for administration and communication purposes during the Germans colonial era in Tanganyika. The Museum was opened to the public in 1987 with the exhibits depicting human evolution, including findings from the famous Olduvai Gorge and the Laetoli footprints. A modest exhibition on entomology presenting some insects of economic importance is also an attraction to visitors.

Nambala Village Tour

Take ‘daladala’ (collective taxi/minibus) to the village of Nambala and enjoy the quiet village life.
Your guide will lead you on the small village paths to the little well. Walking through the fields you will reach the small houses of farming families and the wazees (elders) of the village will be grateful to welcome you in their houses. Visit the batik and if you ask in advance, the village traditional dance group ‘Uwana’ dances some traditional dances for and with you. To finish your trip, enjoy a cool drink in the lively village bar to Tengeru, the turnoff to go to Nambala village. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, a colourful market is taking place there.

Meru Mountain Biking, Trekking and Waterfalls

Welcome to the extensive village of Sapuku on the foot of Mount Meru where you can experience daily life of traditional Maasai and Wameru tribes, spot rare birds and monkeys and get astonishing views of Arusha town and surroundings. Three mayor viewpoints are part to this trip on Oldonyo Sapuku, or ‘Big Mountain’. The full trip will take about 6, 7 hours; a shorter one of 4 hours is possible as well  You start walking from our office/your hotel to the neighbourhood of Sanawari where the road leads up to the beautiful village of Sapuku. You will pass Enaboishu Secondary School. Here the road starts going up and passes many Maasai Bomas.  At viewpoint “A” you will get a good view on Sanawari village.
On the walk to viewpoint “B”, you pass the village office, where you will be asked to pay village development fee (V.D.F). Further, up the road beautiful waterfalls will astound you. Here at viewpoint “C” observe the spice plants of the Themi River that flows down and passes Arusha city.


On your way, back you will visit a huge plantation forest with indigenous trees and herbal plants. If you are lucky, you can see black and white Colobus monkeys, black faced velvet monkeys and Blue monkeys playing nearby. The guide will lead on nature trails and helps you to identify the many different bird species, including the Little Brown Job, a shy secretive little bird that spends much of its time stalking in dense bush. There is a wide variety of other African birds of prey.
Near the end of this trip, you visit the batik factory and see how batiks are made.


You can even learn how to make them yourself. To finish the trip enjoy a cool drink in the lively village bar near the main road Arusha-Moshi.
By cycling it will take about 5 hours to hike and 1 hour to descend.

Mountain Biking in Ng'iresi

Mountain Biking Tour.


The meeting place is mount meru hotel and Riverside bus stand and the area for Biking is known as Ngiresi  village  near mount meru  and there is a program in the village were the client  will be able to see maasai boma, agriculture farm like coffee mixing in one farm with banana tree and other crops also keeping cattle milk and share African lunch there also is possible to cycling to the big waterfalls  which come from mount meru. 


And also its possible to walk from the Hotel to Ng'iresi to see the Maasai Boma, the walk takes about 90minutes to 2 hours. 
We can also organize a public transport(Daladala) to take you to the Village.

African Food Cooking

This program is done anytime  special for tourist who want to test our African food .There is especial cooker the  name is mama Azizi she know a little English  but for more explanation  the guide will be responsible  to explain and cook too.   
Also client share how to cook, example ugali with meat, rice with meat, green banana with meat mama Azizi she is a mother of previously guide from viavia  she has experience of cooking  for ten years now . welcome to test our African food. 
Time is not limited you may start at any time but for lunch its better start at morning.

Your guide will give you a short introduction on Tanzanian food and explain about different local dishes. After you have decided on the Meru you would like to cook, you go and buy all ingredients at the local market.
At a local household in Arusha, the guide will show you the cooking utensils that are common in Tanzania, before you start the actual preparations, like cutting vegetables, cooking and frying. Most dishes take quite some time to prepare. (45 min to two hrs) 

The food will be served with local tea (chai) or coffee (kahawa). 
At the bar nearby, you can get cold drinks and beer.

Meserani Snake Park

Meserani snakepark is located only half an hour away from Arusha. 
Here you will find some of the most dangerous snakes in the world. You can even hold a real life snake. 
Next to the snakepark there is a Maasai Cultural Museum. Here you will find out everything about the Maasai people and their traditions. 
On Tuesday it is possible to visit the Maasai market where a lot of Maasai come together to buy and sell their cattle.

Lake Duluti Nature Walk

Hop in a ‘daladala’ (a collective taxi/minibus) that brings you in twenty minutes to Tengeru, a lively in the middle Moshi-road. You will yourself in the middle of a beautiful green countryside. 
The guide takes you through abundant coffee and banana plantations and on a relaxing walk around Lake Duluti Forest Reserve. 
He helps you to identify the many different bird species that can be found here.  The walk ends in the village. 
Where you can enjoy a cool drink in a local bar and try a ‘chips mayai’ (chips in an omelet) or a delicious ‘nyama choma’, the typical Tanzanian barbecue. 
On Wednesdays and Saturdays, you can also take a stroll through the interesting local market.
