Hop in a ‘daladala’ (a collective taxi/minibus) that brings
you in twenty minutes to Tengeru, a lively in the middle Moshi-road. You will
yourself in the middle of a beautiful green countryside.
The guide takes you
through abundant coffee and banana plantations and on a relaxing walk around
Lake Duluti Forest Reserve.
He helps you to identify the many different bird species
that can be found here. The walk ends in
the village.
Where you can enjoy a cool drink in a local bar and try a ‘chips
mayai’ (chips in an omelet) or a delicious ‘nyama choma’, the typical Tanzanian
barbecue.
On Wednesdays and Saturdays, you can also take a stroll through the
interesting local market.
