Three mayor viewpoints are part to this trip on Oldonyo Sapuku, or ‘Big Mountain’. The full trip will take about 6, 7 hours; a shorter one of 4 hours is possible as well  You start walking from our office/your hotel to the neighbourhood of Sanawari where the road leads up to the beautiful village of Sapuku. You will pass Enaboishu Secondary School. Here the road starts going up and passes many Maasai Bomas.  At viewpoint “A” you will get a good view on Sanawari village.

The guide will lead on nature trails and helps you to identify the many different bird species, including the Little Brown Job, a shy secretive little bird that spends much of its time stalking in dense bush. There is a wide variety of other African birds of prey.
Near the end of this trip, you visit the batik factory and see how batiks are made.
